- The Grand Palace, which was home to the Thai king for 150 years.  This palace is a true example of Thai architecture and intricate detail.

- Floating Markets, totally chaotic small canals filled with small boats, filled with anything from fruit and vegetables, to freshly prepared meals.

- Wat Arun, known as the temple of dawn, it is well known for its spire decorated with thousands of pieces of coloured glass and porcelain.

- Wat Pro, this was a Thai traditional medical and massage school, well known for its huge reclining Buddha covered in gold leaf.

- The shopping in Bangkok is also an exciting and worthwhile experience.  Bangkok offers an array of shopping malls and street markets, where you can purchase nearly anything whilst practising your bargaining skills.
