CAPE PANWA BEACH

Cape Panwa Beach is split in two parts by a 300 metre seaside esplanade.  Cape Panwa operates as more of a functional beach, than a tourist beach, with the Thai Navy Headquarters located on the western side of the esplanade.  There is also a large pier, used by both the naval base and for commercial transportation.  There are no amenities for hire at this beach, however long tail boats can be hired to explore the nearby islands.  The Phuket Aquarium is also located at the far end of the beach. 

Cape Panwa beach can be reached by following the main road from Phuket to Cape Panwa, known as Sakadit Road, or by following directions to the Phuket Aquarium.
