CHOENG MON BEACH

Choeng Mon Beach is one of the smallest tourist beaches in Koh Samui.  It is located within a secluded bay on the north-eastern tip of the island, making it an ideal place for relaxation, peace and quiet.  The location is reasonably small, with a rock formation on one side and a small island on the other.  There are several small coves and inlets to explore, although at some points the beach can get quite steep.

There are a number of small restaurants and a couple of shops, in addition to some very luxurious hotels surrounding the bay.  For a livelier place, Chaweng Beach is only five minutes north.
