KHAO LAK KHUK KHAK BEACH

Khao Lak Khuk Khak beach is a beautiful four kilometer long sandy beach.  The beach stretches from Bang Niang beach for several kilometers to its northern end at Coral Cape.  Khao Lak Khuk Khak is divided into three parts by the estuaries of the near by River Khuk Khak.  These estuaries form a lagoon, surrounded by coconut groves. 

The name of the beach originates from the nearby town Baan Kuk Kak, which acts as an administrative town for the nearby Khao Lak.  There is a police station, post office, petrol station and Buddhist temple here.
